March 2004 was the first time I was in Washington. It was GORGEOUS that year. The flowers were blooming. The trees were flowering. It was warm and wonderful and beautiful.
Today, 5 years later. It is still beautiful – but, damn that groundhog for predicting 6 more weeks of winter. We are at week 5 of that extended winter prediction and this is what we awoke to see…
